TUBULAR STRUCTURES

 

The exclusive formula of AITHON A90H is particularly effective on circular-section tubular structures, the most challenging to protect, even when the diameter is very small.

The photos show a column with a diameter of 7.6 cm during and after a test lasting more than 120 minutes.

Even after two hours of fire exposure and subsequent cooling, the intumescent protective shield still perfectly encases the column.

 

LIGHTWEIGHT PROFILES

 

The European classification of AITHON A90H includes very lightweight profiles, up to 430 m⁻¹ S/V.

Even an IPE 80 or L-shaped profiles 50x50x5 exposed on all four sides can be protected.

The smooth, thin paint film does not alter their appearance, is durable over time, and simplifies maintenance.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

 

Water-based, free of halogenated substances, and low in VOCs, AITHON A90H protects steel while also protecting the environment.

Thanks to its extremely low emissions (vacuum emissions at 40°C: only 2.6 mg/g), AITHON A90H has been chosen for the protection of steel structures in clean rooms, the ultra-sterile chambers where microprocessors are manufactured. This provides a guarantee for all sensitive environments, including hospitals, schools, and kindergartens.

OUR PROJECTS

 

 

The Air Terminal in Rome was transformed into the Roman headquarters of EATALY, designed by Julio Lafuente, to become the largest space in the world dedicated to Italian agri-food excellence.

All steel structures, designed like the bridges of a ship, and the tubular roof structures were protected with AITHON A90H.

 

 

THE ARESE CENTRE

 

The Arese shopping centre, one of the largest in Europe, occupies the structure of the former Alfa Romeo factory.

AITHON A90H was chosen for the fire protection of all the steel tubular columns.

 

BOCCONI 2000
